Hello friends!

I hope you're all doing well!

Today we're diving into the world of classic cartoons! You all know Road Runner and Will-E Coyote, and a key element of these cartoons is, of course, Will-E Coyote's ACME detonator!

Since its shape is perfect for a birdhouse, I thought it was something I could easily design and that you'd definitely love!

So here it is, my dear friends!

I hesitated for a long time about adding sticks of dynamite to the design, but I opted for a design focused on the detonator itself. I figured that if you ever wanted to add some sticks of dynamite, the Toon Dynamite storage boxes could easily be reduced in size and incorporated into the birdhouse design. So, if you're ever interested, the dynamite sticks are in another post right here:

That being said, there's very little to say about this project.

It's relatively simple to print and assemble.

No parts require supports.

No parts require color changes.

The project is printable on a "mini" printer.

Coded file names with colors and quantities.

A complete Bambu Lab file is included, as usual.

You will need the usual hardware for birdhouses, namely:

- (4x) M3x10mm self-tapping screws

- (4x) M4x10mm self-tapping screws

A small recommendation regarding the design: Don't hesitate to use plenty of walls for the parts that receive the screws. Since the design requires a fair amount of filament, I recommend adding modifiers around the holes with a higher wall setting rather than simply increasing the number of walls of the whole part in the slicer. However, if you are not familiar with modifiers, increasing the number of walls in the slicer will work just as well; the project will simply use a little more filament overall. Either way, I'll leave it to you to decide what you prefer.

4 to 5 walls for the screw holes is more than sufficient.

7 walls for the birdhouse support is highly recommended.

For the rest, it's incredibly simple! No hassle, it's a really easy project!

So there you have it! I hope you love it as much as I do!

I hope you have lots of fun and I'll be back soon with an update on upcoming projects, in a post where I'll need your feedback! So stay tuned!

Take care, my friends! ❤️❤️❤️

LOVE. Need to also make a fairy house version for those of us that do that houses.

As a child of the 70's growing up with Road Runner cartoons, I absolutely love this. Awesome design.

I love your birdhouses. I just have one question, why do your birdhouse designs not include a perch?

Some of them do! -Chris

Hi, is it possible to design the birdhouse support so it can be fitted upside down, so it is hidden behind the birdhouse. I know it would need fixing to the wall/tree first and then the birdhouse, just think it would tidy things up

Chris West

Sorry, not at this time. -Chris
