MUSHROOM BIRDHOUSE! (Patreon)

Good morning my friends! No need to say that a lot of people have requested a birdhouse version of the cute little fairy house! So here it is folks, and i think its one of my favorite birdhouses so far!
This is a multi-part design, which can be printed on a conventionnal printer without any layer change.
There's only one thing you have to know about this one: Because of the shape of the roof, the dots on it can't be printed separately.
Making flat indentations in the top to receive the dots would make the roof really thick or unprintable without supports and on the other way, if the dots are not flat on the bottom, they will need supports and i didnt want that.
So instead, i have make a small groove all around each dots. This way, they are super easy to paint by hand with acrylic paint. I am always trying to make my designs free of supports and painting, but with this one i had no other choices.
If you have a Bambu printer, they are also super easy to paint in the slicer, with well defined areas and no tricky triangulations. You will notice that the top is already thicker than my other design. Its especially because of those grooves.
I will be honest: Its a bit filament consumming!!! (around 200g only for the roof depending on your settings) but the end result is totally worth it and you will notice that it is a bit bigger than my other designs.
Prusa mini owners: because of the inner shape of the birdhouse, scaling it down to a prusa mini size will accommodate only really small species of birdies... Scale down the model by 0.83 (83%) if you wanna do the project, but for the hardware you will need to redrill the holes just a bit of find an equivalent hardware.
Like always, my holes are self-threading, so virtually any kind of screws will fit as long as the diameter is close to the originale screw.
Aeration holes were added at the back (the ones on the roof) and drainage hole were added at bottom.
All the parts are glued together, except for the one with screws (bottom door and supports)
As usual, i strongly suggest a dry fit check (putting the parts together without any glue to check the fitment). Very helpful for glue placement and preventing assembly errors.
If you have any questions, feel free to send me a message!
Have fun and keep printing!!! Pascal
