Hello my friends!

I hope everyone is doing well!!!

Here's the 2023 edition of the pumpkin familly! Similar to those i made last year, but with new expressions and a bit smaller. Also, 3 types of stes are now included.

There's 6 different models, all easy to print.

All parts have been tested and all parts are already placed in the right orientation.

Individual parts design, No multi color printer required, can be printed on any type of 3d printer.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

-You must glue one center ring under each lid, in the small groove. This will prevent the lid from moving and the lid will be perfectlyaligned with the pumpkin's body.

-Use at least 3 walls. This will prevent the infill to be visible whenthe tealight is on.

-DO NOT use lightning infill. This will cause some areas to be darker than others. You don't want that.

-The stem is almost a snap fit part. I didnt use glue for my pumpkins, and all the stems are very tight in their cavity... But if you have a bit of over extrusion or elephant foot, the stem may not fit. In this case, scale down the stem by 1% and try again. You may need to glue it in this case, depending on your settings.

-3 of the pumpkins requires a few supports on the mouth. Those arePumpkins no.002, no.003 and no.006. Use tree supports, with"touching build plate only". You can use support blocker on their lidto prevent any supports in the small groove under the lid, or splitthe model file and print the lid separately. The reason the lid andthe pumpkin are in same file, is because not every lids are thesame. Some are different depending of the pumpkin's shape. If youare not familiar with support blockers or the split command, sendme a private message. I will be pleased to help you!FILAMENTS USED:

-Orange: Spectrum - Carot orange

-Pink: Spectrum - Pink Panther

-Yellow: Spectrum - Bahama yellow

-Green: Sakata - PLA850 green

-Violet: Filaments.ca - Violet Blue

-Teal: Polymaker - Polylite Teal

-Pale green: Spectrum - Lime green

That's it my dear friends! Everything is super easy to do and they are not very long to print, so you'll have plenty of time to print an entire army since Halloween!

As usual, if you're experiencing some problems during the project, send me a private message.

Have fun!

I love these. Thanks for putting them out early

Great, works perfectly with a tea light in it. Flickers nicely.

I have printed a few and perfect. I did print one blue one, but the light is not seen well through the "walls". Could you post a photo in regards to the setting you used to make sure they were thin enough? Thanks and can't wait to print more!

I don't know how hard this would be for you to add, but I have had numerous requests for a ribbon 'carved' in the back of the pumpkin for breast cancer awareness month. (October) Just an idea if you are interested. Thanks for the great models!

Actually I just thought of it, (after I hit post) a pumpkin with just 3 or 4 ribbons carved it it around the circumference. No face, just the ribbons. Thanks!!

If one wanted these to be the same size as the ones from last year, do you know what % to scale them up to?

Over The Hill

How big has anyone gotten these pumpkins? I'm toying with trying a 200-250% increase to "super size" these. Please reply so we can all learn.

I found the centre rings didn't need glue. They just popped in nicely and stayed there. Many thanks
