Question for Americans + people who visited the US in 2025 ! [Solo Show @ Gallery Nucleus] (Patreon)

Hello Patrons,

If you are American - or if you visited the US in 2025, I have a question for you !
I am supposed to go to LA in April for my solo show. I planned this trip last year but at the time I would never had imagined things would get so scary. I had a first solo show at Gallery Nucleus but couldn't go because of Covid a few years ago. Now, it seems like I won't be able to go because immigration is getting stronger and I keep hearing about people being held for days at the border...

What do you guys think ? Should I worry ? Should I go to the US next month ?
I am staying there for 7 days.

I would be sad to miss the opening of my second solo show there, since I haven't been able to go to the first one in 2021. But I also don't want to be scared going there !

Thank you SO much for your help !! I have asked around and some people say it's fine, some people say please don't come. I booked the flight tickets and Airbnb a few months ago and it's a lot of money... On the other hand is it reasonable to go just because I spent so much money for this trip ? I will ask Gallery Nucleus what they think. To be continued...
