Finding motivation // Drawing challenge ! 🎨✨ (Patreon)

How have you been ? 👀

Today I wanted to talk about how unmotivated I am to draw these days 😪
I have a lot of commissioned work to do, and I feel like I have less and less time to draw for myself. Worse : less ideas and creativity to make fun illustrations when I have some free time. I feel uninspired and whenever I finish a piece, I don't really like it.
So I thought it would be a good idea to make a list of themes I like and start a drawing challenge !!

How does it work ? I pick a theme and make 3 illustrations based on that particular theme. It's fun and once I'm done with the 3 drawings, I know I'll be happy I've managed to finish it & move on to another (super fun) theme.
I think it's really going to help me focus on my personal projects, and allow me to actually find some time to seat and just draw ! I'll let you know how it goes 👀 of course feel free to do this challenge with me !

This week, the theme is fairy tales, and you might have seen it on Instagram, I started with Cinderella :

Here's the next character I picked, Belle - and the third one will be Snow White 🍎

I sketched some ideas on my iPad and I'll print them out and use my light table to paint it on paper.
I'll try to take some process pictures, but I am in my hometown in the French Alps at the moment and it's getting dark around 2pm here, so the lighting is bleh 💀

If you have any theme in mind, please leave a comment below, I'd love to read your ideas !

That's it for today ! See you soon 👋🧡

Hugs,

Sibylline
