Work in Progress // Gouache with Medea 🎨✨ (Patreon)

Hellooo ! 👋

Today I am back with a little WIP post ! This is the very first time I finish a piece using only gouache ! 

1. I didn't have any idea in mind when I started sketching, I just wanted to draw a portrait, make something simple and fun.

2. I started painting and went for a very basic palette since I don't know how to use gouache properly ! So I picked blue, pink & white.

3. Second layer + details !

4. Details in progress - I'm happy how these little snakes turned out !

And here's the final painting ! 

What I used :
⚪ Canson XL paper
⚪ Prismacolor pencil
⚪ Pébéo gouache (it's a primary color set, so I used white & mixed white/blue, white/magenta)
⚪ Masking tape
⚪ Synthetic brushes (size 0 & 2)

This painting isn't perfect but I'm happy with it ! I really want to make more, maybe a little series of blue & pink magical girls ! ✨
And I thought it would make a good print as a reward as well - what do you think ?
