New gouache painting 💕🔥 Process + Preview (Patreon)

Hi Patrons ! 🌞✨

I hope you're doing well !
I just finished an illustration I started a few days (weeks ?) ago. It's based on a sketch I did on my iPad last year - I completely forgot about it and decided I'd use it for a new piece.

As usual, I sketch on my iPad, print it out and trace it on watercolor paper with a light table.

I struggled with the colors, I couldn't find the perfect balance between the character and the background, so I changed the shades a few times.

Here's the final result ! I will post it on Instagram later today.

I am not sure how to feel about this one, probably because it took too long to finish it ! I hope you guys like it.
