⭒⭑꙳𓇼 Update + goals for 2024 𓇼꙳⭑⭒ (Patreon)

I am sorry for the lack of update / posts !
I went to the hospital on Monday for the second operation, it went well ! And I spent the rest of the week resting at home ☺ since there has been some complications following the first surgery, I have to keep a drain in my stomach ㋡ until February 29th (!!) which is going to be uncomfortable for another 6 weeks. I'll definitely be a brand new woman in March !!
I want to go back to work tomorrow, I don't know what to expect. Hopefully I'll find a work flow that works with my current condition ☘︎

What I want to do in 2024

✦ Find the perfect work/life balance - I want to have at least 2 days off to take care of the house and spend some time with my dog (I usually work 7 days a week oops).
✦ I want to find a new hobby ! My biggest passion has become my job so I need to spend some time doing something else. I started reading in 2018 and read a lot last year, I want to keep doing that until I find another relaxing hobby (suggestions welcome !) (also I am currently reading The Phantom of the Opera)
✦ Not to put too much pressure on myself, create what I want when I want !
✦ Make more videos for you guys (vlogs, process videos...). I have everything to make videos and I don't because I know it's going to be time consuming and I don't feel patient enough (but whenever I find the motivation to do it, I love the whole process). I'm just too lazy 𖠋
✦ More sketchbook fun !! I never take the time to explore new things in my sketchbooks. Watching Sophie McPike doing their thing (which is filling sketchbooks with beautiful doodles and finished illustrations) has been so motivating (thanks Sophie ♥)
✦ I want to self publish a new artbook !
✦ I want to focus on Patreon and I want you guys to be happy with my page. If you want to see more videos, process, sketchbook content... Let me know in the comments !

Plans for 2024

I am already booked for 2024 !!
✦ I will have a solo show at Gallery Nucleus in July, so every piece I am currently working on are going to be for the show (I need to make 20 new paintings). I will be at the opening night to meet you and sign my book (Rêverie + the new artbook I will be working on this year, if I manage to finish it in time !)

✦ I will attend LightBox Expo for the first time !! I will be there with Gallery Nucleus, and will make some merch for the convention as well.

✦ I am going to work on a graphic novel with my sister Apolline !! We already have a publisher, which is amazing and we are so lucky. This year I want to take the time to work on this dream project with my sister, even though I have to paint a lot for the solo show this summer. If you guys are interested, I'd love to share some news about the graphic novel, too !

✦ I might do a collaboration with a small business that makes woven blankets ! I'm exited about it because I have some at home and I love them. It would be amazing to see my art on a blanket !!
