At their inception, the Scar Wars events were meant to exclusively showcase cutting/branding. The theory was great, but the practice, with scores of body modification fans and practitioners in the same room for hours a day, was a bit different.

Over the course of the three SW events, clients occasionally ended up getting other modification work done; implants, ear pointings, things that shall not be named.

Sammi had her ears pointed at the third and final SW event in October 2007; here she is with the slightest blood trickle.
