SW1- Hug it out (Patreon)

I've been making decent progress on the lecture/book celebrating the twenty-fifth anniversary of the first Modcon event- combing through thousands of folders on various DVD-R backup discs, old hard drives, physical prints and negatives- it's been a wonderful if not emotionally intense process and I can't wait to get it over and done with.

By the time I finish, I'll be ready to start preparing the talk/book for the twentieth anniversary of the first Scar Wars event, which was hosted almost six years to the day from the first Modcon (May 19th for SW, May 21 or 22nd for MC).

This photo features SW photographer Allen Falkner, and cutter Ron Garza, hugging it out after an impromptu wrestling match. The days were long at these events and distractions were necessary and welcome, even while being slightly inappropriate.
