Taint Tattoo (Patreon)
Content
Master Piercer Jack Yount had relatively few tattoos when he had his friend Sailor Sid Diller tattoo a flame on his perineum- Jack would jokingly call it his tainttoo- in the mid 1980s. Jack would eventually end up almost fully tattooed (save his lower arms) but the flame remained one of his most photographed pieces.
Sid's back- seen here at his Silver Anchor Studios in South Florida- was done by Cliff Raven and features some of Cliff's trademark homoerotic imagery. Sid's services were offered primarily to gay men (he would often advertise his services to be exclusively for gay men, but we've seen evidence to the contrary) and it wasn't uncommon for both artist and client to be fully nude during a tattoo or body piercing procedure.
While a lot of Sid and Jack's clientele were sex positive gay men, often into BDSM or the Leather scene, the nudity wasn't necessarily sexual- more a celebration of the comfort and community found in their space.
