"We arrived at Heathrow on Tuesday, March 7th for a week in London prior to moving on to the Continent. Our main reason for this lengthy stay was in order to spend some quality time with Alan Oversby, better know in piercing and tattoo circles as Mr. Sebastian. We also wanted to meet as many other British piercing enthusiasts as possible."  -Jim Ward "A visit to London and Remembering Mr. Sebastian"  BME, 2005

In March of 1978, Doug Malloy, Sailor Sid Diller, Jim Ward, and tattoo fan Elizabeth Weinzirl visited London for a meet and greet with influential body piercer/tattoo artist Alan Oversby- known professionally as Mr. Sebastian. At the time, his shop shared commercial space in Wandsworth with Leather Unlimited, owned by Alan Selby who would go on to operate Mr. S Leather in San Francisco.

During their visit Jim would interview Alan for PFIQ, while Sid and Doug took photos of Alan's studio, clientele, and friends including one of his lovers, Banana.

Banana had a set of Sebastian's pubic wing tattoos, as well as double pubic piercings that accentuated the tattoo.
