This photo earned me a 24 hour suspension on Instagram a while back. Because it's a bare butt. To be posted here on our 18+ Patreon page, it has to be locked down to supporters only.

It's a butt.

The rules of social media are so weird.

Back to the backside and the Badlands.

In the late 1980s and early 1990s, Indiana tattooer Royboy Cooper produced a series of video documentaries from his Badlands Tattoo studio that look at the tattooing and piercing community through the lens of outlaw biker culture.

That makes them, at times, very difficult to watch. While their documentation of pierced people is some of the best to come out of that era (given that the era had very little in the way of competition when it comes to piercing documentation on video- the only other option being Charles Gatewood's FLASH VIDEO offerings) that comes at the price of both casual and overt racism that makes them more something to contextualize rather than watch for enjoyment.

Roy passed away in 2010 at the age of 64, Debra (seen here wearing tattoos he did) is still tattooing in Indiana. She was, for a time, selling DVDs of the Badlands films, but I can't say if that's still the case.
