There was nothing quite like lugging a bunch of photo equipment- 35mm camera, flash, AA batteries for the flash, rolls of 35mm film, and the assorted accompanying gadgets and gizmos it took to shoot, hopefully, three rolls that each had, at most, 36 potential photos for your trouble.

Conditions weren't always ideal. Sometimes you should have used flash; other times you did use it and washed everything out with overexposure. Of course, you wouldn't realize which direction each image would go until you got home and coughed up the money to develop the film.

I can attest firsthand the bliss of discovering that 1/3 of the photos that I took on a 36 exposure roll came out mostly ok, with the rest falling somewhere between totally useless and almost acceptable.

That's a big ol rambling way to say that this print, scanned from the original taken in the early 1990s at the Dunstable Tattoo Convention and featuring Jack Yount and Rona, is close enough to almost acceptable that I felt comfortable adding it to the online archives here at SD.

Rona frequently appeared in the pages (and I believe at least one cover) of Pauline Clarke's PIERCING WORLD magazine (the British equivalent of PFIQ) as well as having a brief career as an adult film performer.

I'm sure if I were better acquainted with Photoshop I could have done better in presenting this (you should have seen it before I started messing with the exposure and contrast) but, as it is,  close to acceptable has to do.
