When we were putting together the latest issue of Nodal Points,  we sorted through a few dozen images from photographer Robin Ryan for her feature article; I can't really say what criteria I used when choosing which ones made the final layout, but for every image I used there were three more that I had to cut for space.

While I'm happy with what we used, it just didn't sit right with me that the rest of the photos - scanned from the original negatives and slides taken in the 1970s - were just going to be filed away in my archives never seeing the light of day.

So last year I put together the second volume of our Archive Editions series -a shared archival project designed to decentralize rare ephemera with the hopes of it surviving past any single owner.

You can purchase a copy here: Sacred Debris Archives Edition II - Robin Ryan.

About the book:
Square, 7"×7"

Collecting 46 rare photos, scanned from original color slides and black and white negatives, from Bay Area photographer Robin Ryan, Sacred Debris Archive Editions Vol2 features tattoo and body piercing legends Lyle Tuttle, Davy Jones, Tattoo Samy, Mr. Tramp, Doug Malloy, Albert Morse, Dale Grande, Oakland Jake, and more!

Presented with the goal of ensuring that these one of a kind snapshots outlive a single collector, SDAE2 continues our series of "shared archival" book projects.
