In the tattoo community, David is known for his full torso/back greywash work by iconic tattoo artist Cliff Raven; for piercing fans, its his large septum piercing (usually featuring a tusk) that attracted attention. 

There was a time when you could bet you'd see David at any of the major tattoo conventions (when there were only a few a year) walking around wearing as little as the space would allow and flaunting the tattoos and piercings. 

A retired postal worker, Gee was kind enough to sit down with Jack Yount, decades ago, for this conversation.
