Mega Pec Piercing video excerpt- 1993 (Patreon)

Although Patrick Bartholomew was an innovator of both piercing technique and placement, his name is not frequently mentioned in modern piercing history. This may be due to his gruff nature or his association with the UK scene, which was not as visible to American piercing culture - the most frequently documented culture for better or for worse.
To me a Master Piercer is one who can do any piercing! And I do mean any piercing. I was accused some years ago of riding on Alan's reputation. I put out a challenge that I would do any piercing named by any other piercer in public, provided that they would do the same. I went further and promised that whatever they claimed was their best piercing I could do as well, and probably better. Needless to say I received no takers. When I see super work from the likes of Jon Cobb, I know a master when I see one. I don't think I would like to have to compete with him... (laughing) but I would if I had to. - Patrick Bartholomew
he following video excerpt is taken from the video Penetration 3, produced by Wildcat UK in 1993. Patrick, performs multiple "mega pec" piercings, which are likely inspired by Fakir Musafar's deep chest bars. Although these piercings have a low chance of healing, Patrick acknowledges them as his most renowned procedure, despite contradicting his philosophy of avoiding such piercings. It should be noted that this video is intended for archival and documentation purposes only and is not to be used as a how-to guide.

Patrick's claims to have originated several piercings - the uvula included - are difficult to validate as he was always terrible about documentation. To his dying day he claims to have predated Jon Cobb's uvula piercing experiment by several years:
Shannon Larratt: You mentioned once that you did a uvula piercing and that you took it out within a short time believing it was a failure.
Patrick: Yes, my client, Crudelia, started to gag uncontrollably after the anaesthetic wore off, so I whipped it out pronto, and scratched this one up as one of my no-no's. I am most impressed to see Jon succeeding.
