One of my (many) problems is that I seemingly think of our archival projects in a holistic way; that each outlet we share body art & modification history through is somehow connected and that folks who, for example, follow us on Instagram also follow us on Twitter, read our zines, subscribe to our YouTube channel, etc.
So when I post something fun on Instagram, I'm assuming everyone who supports us is seeing it, too, (This is particularly true with our Occult Vibrations content, which I need to be much better about when it comes to adding here) which includes posts like this one that we recently added to our IG.
These images were sent to our old spcOnline site back in the 1990 by Shannon Larratt; he was constantly trying out "new" placements and modifications but never really kept anything long enough to gauge (seewhatIdidthere) whether they actually had any chance of viability or not.
Tom Brazda is one of the most technical piercers who came out of the 1990s experimental scene, and in addition to being a longtime friend of Larratt's, was also once his boss. (true story- Shannon even apprenticed as a tattooer during his Stainless Studios tenure)
These piercings didn't work out.
