I'll put the download link at the top as I get the sense a lot of you are eager for this one!

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1lU7wGENK27JSC8EFYIfTTDp_-5n2qZFw/view?usp=sharingSo with this update the west course has been improved to the standard of the east course, the track mesh follows the lidar data to be super close to the real thing. In the last image of the gallery here you'll see the Red, Yellow and Green splotched overlayed onto the map, these are the areas that have been improved with the data.As I've siad before, due to the nature of how I work with lidar, I can only work in chunks at a time, so hopefully these areas I've picked out (based on your feedback) will be enough for you to see a vast improvement. As usual if you think any of the other areas need more work please comment down below. I've made some detail changes around the course too, the grass FX has been updated to remove some of the rocks, and replaced with some small plants within the grass, this gives the grass a denser, more realistic appearance (in my opinion anyway!) If you preferred the old one let me know and i'll change it back. And by popular demand I have added the orange bollards on the pit-lane entry for the east circuit. Hopefully for the next update I will have the pit building models ready to add into the track, as that's gonna be a key detail for making this look 100% authentic. Finally, if there's a good source for things like brake markers could anybody please share it. Thanks again,Tyrone.

scuse me simple question why you never do replay caméra on yours tracks?

Tyrone - Racetracks & Models

Hi Sometime I do Replay Cameras when they are finished, if you make them halway though development, and the AI needs to change it can brake the cams, so you'd need to do them again. There is also a lot of people who enjoy making cams, and are a lot better at doing so than myself, so when a track is finished, and released chances are somebody else will make them within a few days, and I am very thankful for that. Also, I don't tend to watch replays too often. But I suppose I can look into it, if its something people want. Thanks for your comment :)

Yes is logical i see you work a lot in a new type of effects and very original tracks i love congratulations we need that i continuate make support i hope you will continuate longtime

Excellent work as usual. I race here quite a bit in real life and it's really getting close. One thing that I think would help a ton with realism is transition textures for track to grass/dirt. I think the hard edge of the asphalt texture can really take away from the immersion. Something like a jagged edge showing some elevation shadowing down from the asphalt to the grass. I assume you probably haven't done this yet as you are still adjusting the mesh, but I thought I'd mention it anyway.

Appreciate the work you put in for this track. Its my local track and I hope to get some real life track time on it one of these days. For now, sims will do! My friend tracks here frequently and I showed him some videos of me going around the track and he says the track is really spot on. Quick question, what's the best way to update the track? Should I just drop the file into content manager and it will overwrite the files automatically? Or should i delete the previous track first before installing the latest?

Tyrone - Racetracks & Models

Thanks Jeff, I'm really happy with this project, each update really improves it, I think it's going to become my "pièce de résistance" by the time it's complete.

New update is great. Especially the last corner of the east track. Makes it feel much more like the real thing. Cant wait for the rest of the accent environmental pieces.

wow, just wow. you really knocked it out the park! Aside from there still being a slight jump on the west course after T2 going into the straight where east connects to west, there are no more obvious adjustments I can nitpick about this map. Pretty spot on!

Loving your work. Found my way here as I've been searching for a Kuwait Motor Town mod for some time. I'm from the UK, but working in Kuwait and been watching the building with interest. I've subbed and downloaded your first draft of KMT which I love, any plans on further work on it? Also, found your RTB tutorial which is brilliant, so I might just have a go myself :)

Ok just drove the new West side and only have a few nits. 1. WOW looks great, much improved. 2. I have a few small nits on the curbing overall it should be even flatter than it is and some areas have a little more or less. For example the outside of 6 has additional black curbing past the concrete curb. Generally the curbs should be very driveable most places on this track. 3. Thank you for paving the inside of the first apex curb at T1 but it should be very flat there and able to be driven on. Right now it's practically a hole and it demolishes the car. 4. The triangle T3 curb needs to be paved with a curb and is very flat and low and should not count as cutting the course as it currently does. Please note: Thunderhill modified this curb over the years with an extra outer section then eventually repaved the whole thing. The current curb is very flat and can be hit very hard. Look at recent track laps videos. 5. Turn 4 should have an apex curb. If it would be helpful I can provide video of driving the track in either direction from a Garmin Catalyst which shows nose of the car. I have current video from the past ~6 months of West CW and 5-mile bypass CCW.

I agree with T1 left hand curb being way too aggressive and T3 left curb being paved. Another suggestion for 2 mile is a cone on outside of Turn 7 hairpin entrance right side curb for reference. Can be found by Youtubing "Thunderhill west NCRC"

One more bit of feedback on West ... the light gray paved area between turns 9 and 10 is wrong, IRL that is all grass so you cannot drive out there. Check out this video of the track being run in reverse recently, very good video showing you what it looks like. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gBhaCHl3MF8

This is a great update and I agree with the additional tweaks mentioned by others. I have a couple of additional comments. The area in the exit of T2 on the West course where it rejoins the 5 mile course still very much unsettles low clearance cars like the Radical SR3. IRL it is completely smooth where it rejoins the 5 mile track. Second comment is that the outside curb at the T3 kink in the West course is too severe and should be made a little more flat (not completely, but less than it currently is). Keep up the great work! Thanks.

Dude! You are awesome! I have been looking for this track for the last few years!!! Its one of three tracks "local" or close by to me. Silly Question - Do you mainly make circuits? Just out of curiosity, Have you ventured into a project of a larger scale like LA canyons?

Tyrone - Racetracks & Models

Hi Paolo - I mostly make circuits, but I do have a 10km road stage in the works, not quite LA canyons I know but that's about as close as i'll get I think. What are the other local tracks for you?

arwinder Tamber

LA canyons has already been created, you can find it on racedepartment website
