Two Bodies, One Master - Part 1 (Patreon)

Tyrone and Alex stood side by side, their broad, muscular frames almost eclipsing the gleaming doors of the high-rise. The sun reflected off the glass, casting distorted reflections of their identical features: sharp jaws, thick necks, and eyes that held a blend of curiosity and skepticism. Both were dressed casually but in a way that showed off their athletic physiques: Alex in a tight, white tank top that clung to his chiseled torso, his tribal tattoos peeking out from beneath the fabric, and Tyrone in a black tank, his thicker, grown-out afro contrasting with his more rugged, unshaven look.
Alex adjusted his gym bag over his shoulder, the muscles in his tattooed arms flexing slightly. He looked more relaxed, his freshly trimmed hair and meticulously groomed beard giving him a polished appearance.
“Ready?” Alex asked, his tone more excited than questioning. Tyrone, standing a bit behind, grunted, not entirely convinced.
“I don’t get it, man. What’s a shrink gonna do for our gains?” Tyrone’s voice was low, skeptical. His hand brushed across his chin, feeling the slight scratch of stubble. His loose-fitting gray joggers hung low on his hips, emphasizing the casual defiance in his stance. “It’s not like we need someone to mess with our heads.”
Alex laughed, his confidence radiating. “It’s not just any shrink. This guy? He’s worked with pro athletes. Real top-tier shit. We’re talking mental blocks, focus, peak performance.” He stepped into the lobby with Tyrone trailing behind, their workout clothes a stark contrast to the sleek, luxurious setting around them. “Besides, imagine what our followers’ll think when they see the results.”
Tyrone shrugged. He still wasn’t convinced, but the thought of showing their Instagram followers another layer to their already perfected image of fitness gods was tempting.
The elevator ride was smooth, almost eerily silent. A brief exchange of glances, but neither spoke. Tyrone tapped his foot impatiently, while Alex checked his reflection in the polished walls, running a hand through his short, spiked hair. The air in the cabin felt heavy, laden with an unspoken tension, the kind that only surfaced when one was about to step into the unknown.
When the doors slid open, they were greeted by the faint scent of sandalwood. The psychologist’s apartment stretched out before them—a vast expanse of polished marble floors and modern decor. The bluish fabric couch in the center of the room contrasted with the city skyline visible through floor-to-ceiling windows. The place reeked of wealth and subtle power, a combination that didn’t sit right with Tyrone but clearly impressed Alex.
“Come in,” came the smooth, almost velvety voice from across the room. The psychologist stood near the window, his tall, athletic figure silhouetted against the sunlight. His dark hair was slicked back, his tailored shirt hugging his toned frame in just the right way. He smiled, friendly yet with an undercurrent of something deeper, something Tyrone couldn’t quite place.
“I’m Dr. Jacob,” he said, stepping forward and offering his hand. His grip was firm, professional, but there was something in the way his eyes lingered a second longer than they should have on each of them. “I’ve heard a lot about you both. Influencers, athletes, a real power duo.”
Alex was the first to shake his hand, his smile wide. He wore a fitted white tank top that showcased his muscular chest, the tattoos on his arms shifting as he moved. “Yeah, that’s us. And we’re here to take it to the next level. Mental focus, pushing through limits, all of that.”
Tyrone, sitting in the middle, with his afro grown out and dressed in his black tank top, remained skeptical. His gray joggers hugged his muscular thighs as he sat stiffly, his thick arms folded across his chest. His skepticism was evident as he slowly extended his hand, his grip a bit tighter, as if testing Dr. Jacob’s strength. The psychologist didn’t flinch, meeting Tyrone’s stare with calm confidence. “I see,” he said, his voice still smooth. “Let’s sit down and talk about your goals.”
They followed him to the bluish fabric couch, where Alex sat on the right, his casual demeanor showing his readiness to dive into the session. Tyrone, positioned in the middle, leaned forward slightly, more reserved but curious. His muscular arms flexed as he rested his hands on his knees, his brow furrowed in skepticism. Dr. Jacob took a seat across from them, his body language relaxed, yet there was an unmistakable command in the way he held himself.
“So,” Dr. Jacob began, his tone steady but inviting, “you’re here to break through mental barriers. To reach new physical and mental heights.” His gaze flicked between the two, assessing them, reading more than just their words.
Alex nodded eagerly. “Exactly. We’re already killing it in the gym, but we want that extra edge. Something that’ll set us apart even more.” His excitement was palpable, his body language open and ready. He leaned forward slightly, as if already believing Dr. Jacob held the key to unlocking something deeper.
Tyrone, on the other hand, folded his arms across his broad chest, leaning back into the couch with a skeptical glare. His eyes shifted toward Alex briefly before settling back on the psychologist. “I’m not sure how sitting in a fancy apartment’s gonna help with any of that.” His tone was laced with doubt, and his posture screamed resistance.
Dr. Jacob’s smile widened, not at all phased by Tyrone’s attitude. If anything, the challenge seemed to amuse him. He leaned forward, just enough to command attention without appearing confrontational, his hands resting lightly on his knees. “The mind,” he began, his voice dropping to a softer, almost hypnotic cadence, “is the most powerful muscle of all. Once it’s trained, the body follows. I help people access that strength—untapped potential most don’t even know they have.”
Tyrone raised an eyebrow, still unconvinced. “Sounds like a bunch of self-help bullshit to me. We’re not lacking in mental toughness. We push harder than most guys can even imagine.”
Dr. Jacob chuckled lightly, his eyes narrowing in a way that hinted at his deeper understanding. “I have no doubt about that. Your bodies are finely tuned machines, built through discipline and relentless effort.” He let his gaze linger on them, making it clear that he acknowledged their physical prowess. “But tell me, Tyrone, have you ever hit a wall? A point where your body says ‘enough’—even though your mind knows there’s more to give?”
Tyrone’s expression faltered for a moment, just a flicker, but enough for Dr. Jacob to catch it. He had indeed felt that, those frustrating moments when his muscles failed him, no matter how strong his will.
“Yeah, maybe,” Tyrone muttered, shifting slightly, his arms still folded defensively.
Dr. Jacob nodded slowly, as if he’d expected that answer. “What if I told you,” he continued, “that wall isn’t real? It’s a barrier created by your own mind—by fear, doubt, and deeply ingrained limitations. My job is to help you tear that wall down. To push past the mental blocks that are holding you back, even when you don’t realize they’re there.”
Alex leaned in further, captivated by every word. “So, you’re saying... we’ve been holding ourselves back this whole time?”
Dr. Jacob’s smile turned knowing. “In a way, yes. You’ve trained your bodies to perfection, but the mind... well, that’s where the real power lies. Most people never even scratch the surface of what their mind is capable of.” His voice was smooth, like the flow of water over stones. “I can help you reach that level. But it requires complete trust. Full commitment.”
Tyrone’s eyes narrowed. “Trust? Like, what? You’re gonna mess with our heads or something?”
Dr. Jacob didn’t miss a beat. “Not at all. What I do isn’t about manipulation. It’s about unlocking what’s already inside you. You’ll be in control at all times. My role is to guide you, to help you break free of the chains you’ve placed on yourselves.”
The room seemed to grow quieter, more intimate, as Dr. Jacob’s words hung in the air. Alex was already nodding along, clearly eager to buy into the process. Tyrone, however, remained guarded, his eyes darting between Alex and the psychologist.
“Look,” Dr. Jacob continued, this time addressing both of them, “you came here because you’re serious about taking things to the next level. I’m not asking you to believe blindly. Just give me the chance to show you what’s possible. If it doesn’t work—if you don’t feel the difference—then no harm done. You walk out of here exactly as you came in. But if it does work... you’ll never look back.”
Alex glanced at Tyrone, his brow raised in encouragement. “C’mon, bro. What’s the worst that could happen? We’re here anyway, might as well see what this guy’s got.”
Tyrone huffed, unfolding his arms but still leaning back, unwilling to completely give in. “Fine. But I’m not buying into any of this ‘mind over matter’ crap. I’ll play along... for now.”
Dr. Jacob’s smile remained, his expression one of quiet confidence. “That’s all I ask. Let’s see what your mind is truly capable of.”
There was a pause, a lingering tension as both twins processed what was about to happen. Dr. Jacob’s eyes gleamed with a subtle, calculated intensity.
“Shall we begin?” he asked softly, his voice dripping with promise.
His voice seemed to linger in the air, smooth and inviting. Alex, on the right, leaned forward, clearly intrigued, while Tyrone simply nodded, though a shadow of doubt remained in his eyes.
Alex glanced at Tyrone, giving a reassuring smile. “Let’s do it, bro.”
Tyrone’s jaw clenched, but he nodded. “Alright. Let’s see what this is all about.”
Dr. Jacob’s smile widened just a fraction, and for a moment, Tyrone thought he saw something shift in the man’s eyes—something darker, more predatory. But it was gone just as quickly as it came, replaced once again by the smooth, professional exterior.
