In this episode, Buck lists reasons why he thinks Maddie and Chimney are dating (always talking/texting, finishing each other's sentences, spending Friday nights together, singing karaoke). Do you agree with his conclusions? In your opinion, besides kissing/physical intimacy (which are not currently part of Madney's relationship), what separates a very close friendship from something more? Are these pieces of evidence given a different meaning within the context of a show compared to outside of it? For instance, in real life, someone pointing out that the two of them seem like a couple might be a misreprentation of their relationship. However, when put into a scene like this, is it a hint for the future?

I know there's no need for it, but it's my first question and I'm just a bit nervous :) I'm curious about your opinion on Maddie's progress. I'm not 100% on the timeline, but obviously everything with her husband is still fairly recent. With how quickly her and Chimney seem to have hit it off, especially as shown in this episode, how do you think Maddie's relationship trauma will affect her going forward? We see in previous episodes that Maddie never thought she'd be someone in the kind of situation she was in and how jarring it was for her (as I imagine it is for anyone), and a lot of the time these guys can start out nice. With that in mind, do you think it could make it difficult for her to accept that Chimney is a good guy as opposed to someone putting on an act before they show their true colours when it's "too late"? Obviously we know Chimney's a good guy, and Maddie sees that too, but the kind of abuse Maddie went through is, unfortunately, not something that's easy to just shake off.

First of all, congrats on getting through one of the most heartbreaking emergencies of the whole show. This episode was quite the rollercoaster for Buck, and the emergency featuring the older gay couple clearly had a big impact on him. What are your thoughts on his experiences in this episode, and how do you think/hope they will affect him going forward? What does Buck 2.0 look like to you?

you've officially been introduced to "buck 1.0" / "buck 2.0" !! what do you think about buck distancing himself so starkly from his "old self"? is it a sign of growth?

the calls we are shown tend to have a direct reflection on the main characters. in this episode we focus a lot on buck as the title is a play on “love, actually”. why do you think the old couple were picked to strike a unique cord with buck as he seemed to be most affected by them?
