🍎 Apple Store Subscriptions - Cheaper on browser!!! (Patreon)

TLDR - Subscribe on browser to save money while still getting access to the same content on your Apple Device

Hey guys, wanted to put a little PSA out for anyone who uses Patreon on an Apple device. A little while ago (Nov 2024) Patreon changed its payment system to accomadate Apples changes to its App Store fees, which had a bunch of changes on the creator side of things, however there was also a major one for you guys.

Any subscriptions made using the Patreon iOS app I will be sizably more expensive than if you signed up using the browser, meaning you are paying more for the EXACT same thing, as Apple take their own cut when using the app store 🙄 the silly part is, if you sign up on using the browser on your Apple Device, it will not only be cheaper, but you can still access all of the content on your iOS app. Below is a screen-shot explaining how it works on the patreon side of things:

Hope this helps anyone who is thinking of signing up. Didn't want anyone returning after a while and thinking I had suddenly raised the price a stupid amount, just big companies doing what they do 🙃
