Great start to the season, loving the exploration of vampire lore and what the actual history shows. Yes the vampires only cry blood, we have seen it one or two times before but I don't remember specific scenes. As far as the pages being torn out of the diary, when we first see them torn out after her run in with "The Motherfucker" as she calls him, they're sloppily torn out, like a human did it. Obviously it wasn't a human, it was more likely Louis, but they weren't neatly torn out like we see later. In the season finale, they are talking about the time right after they "killed" Lestat and Daniel mentions torn out pages, then says they look like they were torn out with a ruler. Now with this episode and Louis and Armand arguing over it, I do think there are pages torn out at multiple parts in her diaries, so not just the incident with the Mfer

i dont think every single thing louis says is from claudias diary, its his own thoughts too. so about louis saying that woman didnt talk about the ''something worse'' thing until claudia left, i dont think that was from claudias diary, cause that wouldnt make sense as you said. i think it was just louis talking ab that convo and realizing he remembered it wrong, i think hes more aware of potentially having gaps in his memory or misremembering things after the memories that came back to him in the s1 finale.

vampires can cry, and we saw the blood tears in the pilot and a few other times in s1. the blood is a special effect and i saw a thread ab this on twitter saying they dont track every single tear bc of budget reasons or something like that. cause there are some scenes where if you look closely you can see that the actors are crying real tears, but theyll only track one of them down their cheek or make the waterline look red. like sometimes you can see the wetness on their cheeks but its not red lol just regular tears

lestat and claudia have so many parallels. there was another one in this ep, claudia seeing that vampire throw herself into a fire right in front of her like lestats maker magnus threw himself into a fire in front of him.
