Bridgerton that was single handedly the most heartbreaking direction for a storyline we have ever had, I am so not ready for next episode...

I didn’t for a second think Alice would tell the Queen 😂 She knows what it’s like to be from a lower class too so I don’t think she’d ever compromise Sophie like that for her own gain.

I’ve been dreading the moment of John’s death from the second he was introduced in s3 ☹️ I’m just happy we got so much more time with him in the show than in the book.

You were right on the money about the calendar thing being Sophie tracking her period. She asked Violet for an extra week after receiving the letter of recommendation so she could be certain about whether she was pregnant or not. If she was, then she’d stay with Benedict, if she wasn’t then she’d leave.

I’m also disappointed by how underutilised Colin was this season. In the book he’s the one who basically tells Benedict to get over it and tell Sophie he loves her. I also thought considering how big the LW plot was in S3 that we’d have some scenes with Penelope and Colin discussing her wanting to give it up. There’s also some Colin friendships that are present in later seasons that would’ve been cool to have set up this season. Such a weird writing decision :/

I was gonna ask if it was a book thing! Oh bless, that sucks for all of Frans lifetimes then 😔 not looking forward to the fallout of this, but the actress is gonna kill it

It just feels intentional at this point which is so STRANGE! He's literally in town the whole time and we see him for barely any of it, and when we do he hasn't really had anything to add. Just kind of there. Very odd choice all round tbh.

Luke Newton deserves better, he loves the show and being in it so much :( I saw a recent interview where he looked disappointed that he wasn't in a specific scene. I genuinely dont understand this decision at all.

I hope we see more of Colin and Penelope’s relationship next season. Now that she no longer has Whistledown it leaves an opening for them to spend more time together. I have a sneaking suspicion they will give Pen something else to do (what that is, I won’t say yet because you need to finish the season) and I really hope they don’t. I really enjoyed the scene Colin had with his brothers and brothers-in-law, and we need to see more of Colin with both Pen and with his family
