season four, episode fifteen: ⤡ its the fact that at the end of the originals marcel said they'd stick around and help and even elijah begged them to look after hope once klaus died. hope said to marcel's face that she knew it wasn't going to happen, and they proved her right. hayley & klaus thought they were leaving their littlest wolf with the best people possible, and she was just left alone. it never sat right with me, and it still doesn't. they ruined the mikaelsons and always & forever tbh. ⤡ hope's speech to her nh self finally convincing herself that she's worthy for who she is means so much to me. she's spent the better part of her ENTIRE life thinking she wasn't worth love because no one stayed around. to finally face your darkest self and realise you're good enough as you are? oh phenomenal. ⤡ would've loved to have seen hope breakdown once her humanity comes back on (with the rush of "i killed my boyfriend. oh my god, dr saltzman! oh my god, i killed lizzie! oh my god what have i done?!") bc danielle would've done so good but all we get is a smile. A SMILE??

season four, episode sixteen this episode didn't help the hizzie allegations when it aired. they have so much potential, its insane. ⤷ lizzie's pause before saying "idolised" (or whatever word she used), like... its okay bestie you can say you loved her 🧡 ⤷ love how even though lizzie's a heretic now & doesn't need help with magic anymore, she still feels the need to hold hands with hope. am i furthering the hizzie agenda? yes, yes i am. ⤷ haha imagine lizzie wasn't a heretic and she actually died with that stake in her heart with hope watching 🧍🏻‍♀️(a possible storyline in my legacies fanfic rewrite) ⤷ "i'm klaus mikaelson's daughter." it's like they've tied her entire identity to her father. by now she's definitely made a name for herself, i mean she's literally the only one of her kind in the entire world - that should mean something. also it seems like the writers completely forgot how ruthless hayley was as well (hello her betrayal in tvd? countless times in the originals?) ⤷ now that hope's in limbo, do you think she's gonna wanna stay there with landon? she couldn't stay in peace to be with hayley in the originals, she couldn't join her family in peace during her transition, so it makes sense for her to wanna stay, because at least she has him back. hope has been passively (and actively at times) suicidal since hayley died, so do you think this situation fits her character arc in that sense? ⤷ furthering my previous question, and one i still don't really understand myself; why do you think lizzie never went to limbo when she got pierced with the gate (just like hayley in s3 of the originals), but hope did? do you think it was a matter of lizzie actually did go but wanted to wake up, whereas hope is where she wants to be?

Fun Fact (question for any episode): Ken's actor is the 4th actor from H2O that appears in the TVD universe; he played Will in season 3 together with Cleo (Hayley's actress) and Ryan (Lucien's actor) as well as Emma in the previous seasons (Rebekah's actress). Also, he is married to Aurora's actress and they have been together since 2009.

Episode 16 I think it's so interesting that Cleo, acting as an oracle with visions (like we saw with the sphinx), instead of having these premonitions and communicating them with riddles or just talking, draws them. Maybe the fact that she is an artist is what allows her to deliver them in this way, which is more shocking, I think, because we literally see how things would play out. What are your thoughts on Jed and Ben's argument? It seems like Ben has a more "selfish" or individualistic view on this fight, like both of them could go away and be free from their curses, but Jed wants to fight for and with his friends (a major character development, by the way). Do you understand and agree with both of their perspectives?

Episode 17 Ken: Is something wrong? Aurora: I'm not sure yet (looks him up and down). Aurora was READY to risk it all for some bearded deity hahaha I'm enjoying Aurora's character so much more here than in the originals; it's like they have humanized her in every way, even though she continues to be the "bad guy". Are you enjoying her role in this season? We have seen many special guest stars from the other shows, but none of them have had as great relevance in a plot as Aurora has.

Season 4 episode 16(kinda) This is actually just an add on to last episodes discussion and the “hopes family abandoned her argument” so bare with me Hopes family wasn’t any more absent that the other typical healthy family we know of which is Kaleb’s I mean they have technically been there many times in 3 years every time HOPE reached out for magic help freya was always giving her answers over the phone. Or Vincent. Especially when it was stuff the school forbid students from knowing about (ie the time freya filled in the merge history when Hope asked or when Vincent talked about the moramiserium “the black magic sand clock”) Rebekah came as soon as she heard Hope wanted to turn she was a day late but still and freya was even on time to make sure it was done in the safest peaceful way possible. Freya crossed the country the second Hope came back into her memory after they reversed the malivore spell. And now this. they HAVE been there just not every day honestly I see that as them respecting Hayley’s and klaus’s wishes for Hope to have that school as a second safe space. Having hope be around people her own age was one of Hayley’s biggest wishes. Hope had 2 summers where she was supposed to go home to New Orleans like all the other kids but she spent a summer in malivore then chose to stay at the school for the other summer. All that said given both budget constraints, the fact that Rebekah’s actress stays off the CONTINENT and scheduling not lining up I think it’s unfair to say they abandon hope when we’ve been shown time and time again they will come or be there for her over the phone at any time if she just ask.

4x18 ⭐️I love Cleo’s storyline this season. Her being a Fury was bad ass. The fury’s being natures reaction to the gods. A witch with the abilities to see possible futures and to commune with the gods to reach some sort of balance. It’s also a cool evolution of her powers. Muse-subconsciously searching futures for a possible inspired answer to a problem Oracle- being able to hone in on the exact future and see it all not just the answer And finally The Fury- a being able to see and mold the future creating changes and tweaks to reach the desired outcome. What are your thoughts on Cleo’s evolution? ⭐️Ethan and mg at the bus stop the entire time I was screaming JUST KISS!! we’ve had so many kisses at the bus stop what’s one more. Do you think it’s smart taking Ethan off the board for the upcoming battle? ⭐️finally Lynn speaks one of Ken’s few siblings remaining the goddess of death/the ferryman. Thoughts on Landon taking on the role? He’s the new god of the afterlife/ferryman. ⭐️would it be a Julie plec show if they didn’t kill off one of their major black characters in service of the plot? ⭐️the just keep edging us with that MG and Lizzie kiss. But thoughts on Lizzie’s confession. Her finally admitting she deserves good. And she can have good with with MG was so sweet. ⭐️“Just stay on the other side of the bars I don’t wanna hurt you.” And Ben’s face when he said “you can’t hurt me🥹” ughhh they are so cuteeee Ben would 100% be a werewolf chew toy for the rest of eternity if it was Jed as the wolf.
