Hey everyone! This update adds a whole new way to manage and interact with your game world, its characters, locations, factions, and more! A new "Nexus Workspace" window where everything will be accessible and easy to use, and a Nexus Wheel that is aware of your current scene, putting the most useful tools right in front of you.

Split the Workspace and keep a town open beside the people you want to add to it. You can work through the town's population while keeping each person's information available in the other pane. That's useful when you're building a settlement around characters you've already prepared. And it's all done from one interface, no more juggling and hunting windows around.

Open more objects in tabs, move those tabs between panes, or drag a location from the map into the Workspace. When you want a smaller window, merge the panes and compact the whole thing. These are different ways to work with the same campaign objects, so you can compare several things while preparing a session or keep just one location open while you're on the map.

The Connections view now gives you a graph as well as the old list. Open an organization to see the people and places connected to it, then follow those records or add another member through drag and drop. The graph gives you a visual overview of that organization's relationships.

Make sure to update all your augur modules for the new features to work without a hitch. Thank you for supporting this work! I am already thinking about the next update.

Manage Your Entire Campaign Inside Foundry VTT

Support my work and find the Augur modules: https://www.patreon.com/TheAugur Bring your campaign’s people, locations, and organizations together with Nexus Workspace inside Foundry VTT. In this walkthrough, I put a town and an NPC side by side, add notable people, organize records in tabs, and switch between compact views, standalone dossiers, and connection graphs. Then I use Nexus Wheel to access the tools for the current scene, from editing a hexmap to entering a temple dungeon and returning to the regional map. I also show World Graph, a broader view of your campaign’s connections that I’m still developing. The demonstration includes Augur: Fantasy for resident generation, Hexlands for hexmap editing, and Instant Dungeons for dungeon generation and editing. The Augur Nexus landmarks when linked to your battlemap scene becomes a link which when deleting the landmark, will wipe out your entire battlemap, forcing you to start from scratch. This is incredibly frustrating. I really wish you would update the code so that deleting a marker on a map would first break the link with the scene before deleting the marker.

The Augur

I might be misunderstanding you, but when you right-click a marker on the map, you get a "Delete Linked Site" option, which states it is permanent and warns that it will also delete the scene (and has a skull warning icon), and a "Remove Marker" option, which only removes the marker/landmark from the map and does not affect the underlying scene at all. Also, when you create a landmark/site using the "existing scene" option (linking a scene that already existed in your game) you get a "Delete Site Only" option in the delete site popup. This option breaks the connection and leaves the scene untouched. Sadly, I can't put screenshots here, but if you hop on the Discord, I can explain this better with proper screenshots: https://discord.gg/GNf5XRv5Hr

amazing.

Glad you like it! I am currently working on revamping the UI to make it.. well... prettier. And will add a light theme to go with this too.
