The Manhunter is one of the really excellent nemesis monsters in the game, not just from a mechanical standpoint where it holds its worth against the superb Node 1 Butcher, but also from a thematic standpoint. We know a lot about the Manhunters due to them being a part of The Holy Lands, which has had multiple resin releases in the past due to its original intent of being part of the setting of the still unrealised Kingdom Death: Labyrinth.

They're a super villain and like the Butcher there's a lot of pleasure to take from beating them up and ensuring they will never menace another settlement again.

This is probably the only YT Video release for the month, I'm so swamped with trying to be ready for multiple boss battlers arriving including:

Kingdoms Forlorn (which has a good shot at being my Game of the Year)

Aeon Trespass Cycle 3 replay.

Kingdom Death Remastered Wave (Paid for, not yet shipped)

Leviathan Wilds Expansion (Which is on its way as I write this)

Dante: Inferno

Unstoppable

I've also not played the new Townsfolk Tussle expansions enough to be able to review them.

Anyway, enjoy the video!

The Dark Bestiary - Chapter 6: The Manhunter | Kingdom Death: Monster -

Text Warning: The Manhunters are one of the more unpleasant parts of Kingdom Death's world due to coming from the frankly unredeemable Holy Lands. There's a warning card at the front of this episode listing the subjects, while this is a fictional villain in a fictional world, it's still something that touches on dark subject matter. Hello and welcome to this series which will look into various elements of Kingdom Death: Monster with a focus on both strong "meta" strategies and also how to make more goofy and fun options work, because it's not a board game if you are not having fun! Thanks for this! Always great when a new dark bestiary comes out:) besides the inspirations you mentioned for the design I also think its very inspired by the saint of killers from the comic book preacher. I always imagine him talking like that when I have him in a campaign:)
