ever-more pulling maps together for the new mappers to work on-- they are going fast, guys, the cliffs in the desert are already almost done-- threw together this tileset a couple days ago. it's pretty much just a fusion of the desert, route 3, and iolia valley, so that'll give you a pretty good idea of what the teknite area is like. 

despite it using mostly similar tiles there were a few things I had to edit, and I definitely had to make this a separate file so that I could use all of Iolia's auto-tiles, which otherwise definitely wouldn't have fit into the set

(bless RMMV for having unlimited autotiles... as far as I can tell, anyway.)

...so that should tell you a bit about what kind of puzzle's gonna be up there too.

Dumb question: what's an auto-tile? And... where is this Teknite area? :-O

question is not dumb! Teknite is one of the sidequest areas that'll be in E17... I'll leave it to you to find. ^^ Auto-tiles in RMXP are tiles are either tiles that are animated, like water, or tiles that automatically conform to their surrounding tiles, such as putting paths onto grass-- it's a huge time saver i just got an interesting idea............

I also had the Teknite question, and in my attempts to solve it myself, I went searching for the map of Reborn you used to have on the reborn site only to remember that you removed it (unless I'm blind and can't find it.) That spawned another question: Did you ever finish your redrawing of the hand-made map? The last post I was able to find was from late December, where you said it was half done, and I don't remember a follow up afterwards.
