1.4.
I won't be surprised if my word counts sink a little bit from here on out just as I'm trying to make a better effort to play with and integrate variables and conditions out the gate. Definitely lost a bit of time tonight to learning more about how to syntax those in the program... But regardless, the logistics are likely going to slow me down a little.
Maybe I'll get used to it. Maybe I'm wrong.

By and large I still intend to keep pretty much everything regarding this project under wraps because it's the type of game that is just inherently spoiler-sensitive
but I think I can safely say in advance that there's a particular center character that I'll come back to talking about from time to time.

and I'm really enjoying writing her,
but at the same time I feel like I'm still trying to work out who, in detail and personality, she even is?
And that's a bizarre combination of things to me.
how can I like her so much when I don't even know her yet?
what am I imposing onto her to like, and should I be doing that?

Like
Do I like writing her or do I just like being able to focus on the depth of a character after having spread so thin with a broad cast for Reborn?
Or is there something about her that I like that I haven't quite eked out yet?

That question probably doesn't have an answer,
But I do find it cozy to be able to settle in and just write, like, a conversation.
A growing relationship.
I hope to write a lot more in that vein going forward.
