[Starlight] We bringin' Wikk on back... (Patreon)

You could also see right there that unlike every other character he didn't have a back reference posted with him. That's cuz one wasn't made before. We don't need them for every character, but I retroactively wanted one for Wikk. 

Only (I forget if I've talked about this already, but if I have it's been a while) one problem-- most of the character art done so far has been by Tofu, who has unfortunately since disappeared off of the face of this planet (not even posting on social profiles :c). 

So, what's a gal to do but learn to do it herself? 

Historically digital art has not been my strong suit per inexperience, but I've been working consistently to learn to emulate Tofu's style (consistency is important in artistic direction, kids!). This was a first for me in several ways--  first time trying to fully emulate her style, first time doing a back-facing character design,  first time drawing an especially muscled character...

In a sense, this was kind of a test for myself. I'm not displeased with the results. And anything that does turn out sub-par I can always go back and redo. I only got good at spriting from doing so much of it for games in the past-- I figure the same will be true for art. 

I have one more design that Tofu did in the past to post yet, but after that I'll be making them for you guys myself.
