[Starlight] kitty!!! (Patreon)

When the realms of Heaven and Hell were tied together at the fall, they were both twisted into a form entirely unrecognizable to the Emmortals who had previously lived there. With that new form came new land, new plants, and of course new fauna to follow. The species that appeared in Hell were dubbed Lesser Demons, and so those created in Heaven became Lesser Angels.

One of those Lessers is the Tarrakoal Cat, for which the sketch above is a prospective design. Tarrakoals are hell-dwelling wildcats with flame-resistant fur, known to hunt in packs, bathe in flaming tar, and to ignite brimstone deposits causing huge explosions for no reason other than their own amusement.

A certian Tarrakoal Cat will have an important role in the story, so before I proceed on to designing that one, I wanted to get a clear generic basis for the species. Next up I'll color it and then move onto making that individual's unique appearance.
