i feel like these posts are my monthly state-of-the-patron addresses, but they say the same thing every time:

Rewards have been updated for all new and changed patrons-- you've been added to the credit list using your patreon or forum name so if you would like to be listed as something else please comment or send me a message
Level 5+'s have had their forum accounts connected
And messages should be sent out to others
If I have missed you or you would like to call in one of the higher tier rewards, as always, just send me a message
but make no mistake
i will always miss you anyway <3

so we're coming up on the first testing cycle since patreon has been a thing. gosh, it does not feel like it's been 10 months. thank you all so soo soooo much for being here and allowing me to do this as i have. the game is better for it. unquestionably. and! faster! anyway so here is the deal with testing

when the episode is ready for alpha, I'll make a hidden forum on our site that is only available to those of you with the 'Supporter' group. The episode will be available from there, and there will be various bug topics similar to the public layout for E16. But that means you will not be able to get the test game unless you have a forum account hooked up to your patreon. If you are at least Level 5 and your account is not branded "Supporter" then please send me a message so I can fix it for you!
It is also possible to make the supporter tag hidden, but still work for the forum-- if that is a thing that matters to you.

Our testing waves for this episode are:
Internal > Alpha > Beta > Community > Public
Y'all are the Alpha (and the Omega aayyyyyy) so that forum will be created and host the file after the internal testing. In the past I've done 1-2 weeks for beta but this time I will probably be keeping it to 1 week per wave, meaning a week after internal testing starts, you will have it, and then it will go to our aces for beta. So on. The community release may or may not be longer still; we'll see what it needs when the time comes.

I wanted to do more waves than in the past because what would often happen is thing X would be broken in beta so I'd fix it but the fix would cause something else to break or just wouldn't work for the community release. + Sometimes slip through the cracks. Having more separate groups playing it means it's more likely to get fixed even if it takes a few passes.

ok so there we are, i must do myself a go now because there is still much to do and even i cannot do it yet unfortunatley i crai errytime sad reacts only ok bye love you all

ALPHA TESTING SOON, I'M SO EXCITED!

screw sad reacts, positivity and optimism are in town indeed, all those months just kinda passed by, haha. unlucky that your PC broke during them, but what can you do. at least you didn't fry yourself. thanks for your and the team's continued effort to ensure Reborn stays the great game it is. a lot of things happened! Gen VII a desert a desert a desert seriously, a whole desert the many usual things an episode requires AI and last but not least Furfrous. many of them. many Furfrous. pronounced as Furfrue. additionally, as if you wouldn't just do so on your own account, but remember (the remembering part is -not- meant with 'own account') your promise - and E17 feels like the first part of that, to me at least - there shall be a great closing to the book. ^^ I'm sure a lot of us will support you to the end of Reborn and beyond that. Keep it up ~

I always ask this question, but when playtesting, do you want us to ty and break the game? Do you want us to try and find things that need to get worked out, or just play the game and point out what needs tweaking if it comes up?

Jacob

Wow 10 months already, where does the time go?
