Still, I had plenty of bugs stacked up to fix from my personal list, that came into me from other sources. And, Marcello has gone through and pulled in bugs for him to fix in the past. But those have just been script and online bugs. i haven't even looked to see how bad the rest of it is yet...
it's easier for me to do it this way, so I don't get sidetracked from actual development trying to fix this and that as I go... and even though bugs are my main focus now with being all that's left, I wanted to clear out my personal list before stepping out into the world.
but today, it is time.
I cleaned that list out yesterday, aside from the aforementioned script errors which are Marcello's territory. He's still converting function code into script, so in order to avoid bottle-necking on him, I've pulled Jazzy into helping test our bugs to make sure they exist, and I may yet pull Kanaya into it today as well. Gotta get the whole team roused for the finale.
Incidentally, asking jasper to bug test was a mistake. And also definitely the right decision. He tested about five bug reports last night-- and found ten bugs. How??? I am so glad he's in the internal test wave. Those squishy things don't stand a chance.
Depending on how many bugs I collect and what kind of problems they are, we may or may not have another bug hunt stream. I'll update tomorrow on how it's looking. Since this is the final thing for me to do it will also determine when we start supervised testing. In an ideal world... we could start Friday. But that's generously assuming I can get through all bugs from the past 10 months in two days, which is quite a high bar to jump.
Then again, I suppose runners do pick up their pace when the finish line is in sight...
