the night is young and the server is wild (Patreon)

i begin to realize that i waste a lot of time prioritizing and organizing what i should work on for the sake of making sure i don't miss anything, and for being able to say for the dev blog this is X% done
to that we say fuck that shit, i will do things as i think of them and deal with the consequences later, and probably more is going to get done in the long run that way anyhow

so i'm partway through eventing area 1. there's a lot more to do than i thought there was going to be. this is fine with me.
i feel like last year i would've taken several days to do what i've done today
either i've gotten my motivation and shit together, or having someone else around is actually really good for my productivity rather than bad
somehow.
this defies all of my logic and world views, but i'll take it.

speaking of defying logic and worldviews, the online server is back on. i'd like to tell you what i did to fix it, but the truth is, idfk, the host sent me some stuff to try and i tried it and i tried to reboot the server and it was like no fuck you i'm still broken and i was like okay fuck you too and it was like sunday at eight sound good? and i was like but that's in half an hour and it was like ;) and started working again so i actually didn't really do anything that should have caused it to fix itself it just kind of decided it was done with its temper tantrum and shaped back up and all the wondertrade and user stuff is still there so that's nice

it's about this time that viewers begin to figure out letting things illogically fix themselves is just about the only thing i know how to do
at least i embrace that.
i embrace it like i embraced the server tonight after we finished.

i don't have any idea what i'm saying at any given time.

i also updated the townmap for E18 tonight. i would post it but no.

anyway back to eventing.
