if you were at tuesday's dev stream on twitch then you know exactly what's goin' on here. as has been suggested a few times, one thing that will be included with E19 is the ability to actually view your Department Store Membership Card, and therefore see which stickers you have an are missing! on tuesday we actually made the card on stream, which looks like this:

at the stream we decided this lovely dame's name is silph-tan, the official digital mascot of silph co! she and her porygon friends are here to help with all of your shopping needs!

and no, she is not a sonic OC ;~;

anyway i did several of the stickers on stream but since i had stayed up the night before working on the gym puzzle i was too tired to finish it, so i fell asleep instead
and woke up and kept working on them
and then fell asleep without finishing them again because i was still tired
and that happened like two more times over the next day or so because what is sleep or a sleep schedule, i don't know alex you tell me.
but they were eventually done.

and! they are fully implemented in game. here's a gif of the small animation for the stickers loading on too:

each sticker corresponds to one of the existing quests, so existing players will be able to tell which of the quests they have and haven't done.
of course the final sticker quest is already in game and has its sticker done, but as if i would show that. ^^

unfortunately because there were no in-game switches set for if a player had a sticker or not for like any of these somehow ?? (really how did i manage without them for so long) most of the stickers will not show up on pre-19 save files until players go back and talk to each of the NPCs who give them. so that kinda sucks but...nothing i can really do to make it retroactive :C
that said it should update the card as soon as you speak to them without needing to do any part of the quest again, so hopefully not too bad.

anyway i have finally temporarily bested my lack of sleeping and finished out the puzzle.
that's uh, that's the part we're departing from. to be clear. my clever title is clever, please believe me.
only the actual gym battle remains, and aside from that i will be cleaning up some loose ends that have been left through the last few parts of development-- just things like properly resetting healing points when necessary, a couple graphics, so on.

but being at the gym battle at this point is weird, if it were any other episode the episode would basically already be over 🤔

alas, there is so much more!
