how can i exist if i do not make an obligatory comment about discontentment with my pace of work when it falls even slightly behind what i acknowledged in the first place was an unsustainable rate?

i simply cannot

on tuesday i went to our now-previous apartment that was just moved out from to do some cleaning and get the last of our belongings out. i spent most of the day cleaning a newly-painted yet still very dusty apartment, nearly passed out in the process of moving a sofa, and in general had a very unpleasant time, which then generously continued to spread its unpleasantness throughout the entire week. i don't know if it was the paint fumes, the physical exhaustion, stress, or some combination of all of the above but my body had a very unpleasant reaction to all of it, and i feel like i've been half-sick and ended up sleeping the entire week as a result. s2g couldn't stay up for more than a handful of hours at a time.

and then on thursday we received a text from our landlord saying the place was still filthy (it wasnt), and proceeded to list everything i had just gotten sick from cleaning as problem areas, and well as some things that were clearly not our fault. if you saw my status on twitter about bathing in paint chips-- that was one example. she had hired a painter-- hence the fumes-- since we left, and the painter mucked up the bathroom big time, and yet our landlord was apparently convinced that that was our fault and we used the facilities like that. idk.

not my favorite week.
but! this post exists (not just to vent, ame stay on task dammit) because i have managed to stay awake for enough consecutive hours to finish out another quest-- the one run and managed by our very own Tail of the Smeargle. no details, no screens this time-- but we're one step closer.

I can share some sprites he made though! A new trainer class-- the Poacher. Since Legendaries have begun appearing in Reborn, it seems some other regions have taken notice, and some unscrupulous individuals have targeted them and the region for their own profit!

Poachers will also be an eligible class to appear in the Nightclub battle facilities!

We also tallied up exactly where we're at with all of our quests. Out of 65 legendaries we have to care about, 30 are done. In my head this whole time I forgot to discount the ultra beasts, so I thought we were 20-30 out of 76... but no!! Almost half way!! 

...There's still so many quests to do though. A lot of the ones that are done already were trios. I don't know. It feels too soon to hope. I'm scared the passage of time will eviscerate me with the same cold, uncaring jaws in which it always clenches me, fangs of seconds and minutes tearing my flesh asunder as what droplets of my life remain fall like sand in an hour glass and become one with the earth again as they were always destined to be
