what's been going on in development lately?

in order to answer this, we're going to start with a post back in february. if you haven't already read the skyrim quest marker post, go read it.

so starlight feels like this:

and somehow, when i sit down to work i need to figure out which quest is the best one to tackle next.  the to-do list is a little overwhelming to me right now. to-do lists are inherently overwhelming, perhaps.

and i mentioned in the other post that october's been kinda like this for me:

these things are correlated.

but a bit ago, i've realized the solution to the skyrim problem. and it's nothing that new or revolutionary, right, it's just the way i've always worked.

the solution to the skyrim problem is to not look at this:

simply do not perceive it.

instead, look at this:

clean.
pure.
pristine.
...i probably should have photoshopped the navigation bar full of quest makers for accuracy...
but who cares.
i don't even look at that shit.
i cant read it anyway.

but this is to say the thing that helps me not get entirely lost in the quest-marker sauce is to just look at the game.
not to-do lists.
game.
what was that shadow on the ground just now?
let's go kill it.
