The thing with explosion magic is that it cost so many points that it basically doesn’t allow you to have other magic abilities. So erasing it would allow megumin to learn a lot of other advanced spells

I ship Megumin and Kazuma, correct me if I'm wrong but I heard they're a thing in the novels. I originally saw them as a brother and sister but now that's more of Kazuma and Aqua's relationship.

She wasn’t planning on erasing it. She just had a bunch of points stored up from leveling up, enough to unlock advanced magic again. She would have had advanced magic and explosion magic, she just wasn’t going to use explosion magic anymore.

You CAN have both advanced magic and explosion magic, it’s just that explosion magic takes up a lot more points to power up. If she wants to master explosion magic(make her explosions stronger) she would basically need to put most of her points into explosion magic which wouldn’t leave much left for advanced magic. Kazuma shoulda just unlocked advanced magic for her already 😂 she has plenty of time to gain more points for powering up explosion magic later on. He shoulda also added points to whatever allows her to have more mana so she stops passing out 😂😂

this has been over a year already, but I still probably like Kazuma/Darkness and Kazuma/Aqua more as a dynamic, than Kazuma/Megumin. Well, Kazuma and Aqua are just really hilarious together, and is my favorite Kazuma dynamic but wouldn't say more into the romantic route lmao
