Two episodes in, and I’m already hooked. The art direction and visuals for this series is top notch. Even with the more sweet and jovial moments. I can help but feel this sense of unease and dread. The creepy and unsettling factor is at all time high with this one. Great intelligent horror story.

Sometimes I see shit like the “hand in chest” thing and just marvel at how the human brain works because who comes up with something like that lol and to make it worse, it makes sense?? Somehow it goes perfectly with the overall theme of the show

Yeah, I agree. That’s the whole point. The reason why Yoshiki goes along with it, why he empathizes with the monster, is because he doesn’t feel like anyone else will accept him due to internalized homophobia. It doesn’t work without being queer.
