Fun little fact: The assistant director for Bocchi the Rock was the director of this episode; you can kind of see very similar styles to Bocchi’s comedy with the hairstylist scene and the aquarium scene with the fish zoom in.

You can definitely see that! I thought that was the style this season. Like I thought the animation was very fluid and more expressive than season one's

I think Gojo was weirded out by the liquid glue cus he’s the kinda person that would think people use it as a quick fix for the costumes instead of actually using needle and thread to make repairs but I could be wrong

Oh for sure, episode one and two have a clear fluidity and in a sense simplicity in design to some of their scenes than allows them to be a bit more playful. Interesting that the series director Shinohara is the same as season 1 but you can feel the difference in direction and overall rly enjoying it. The staff through these first few episodes is incredibly talented
