I Was so mad apparently episode 24 is just bonus special episode and the story concludes at episode 23

Thank you for picking up steins gate I see like no one watch it. Honestly I feel 0 could've been executed better, but I love the entire series. Hope they also make animes of the rest of SciADV because I find Visual Novels kinda boring but I am interested in it's connections.

If you're interested, here are some new Steins;Gate content to look out for in the future: 1. Steins;Gate Re:Boot - This is a visual novel for revitalizing the franchise. If it sells well, they may remake the anime since it's supposedly going to be a "story no one has ever experience." 2. Hollywood live adaptation - Skydance is currently making a live adaptation. That's all we know. 3. Sequel - A sequel has been confirmed and that's all we know.

I don't think any sequel was announced if there is can you show me?

Regarding Steins;Gate's World Line mechanics, there is only one active World Line at a time (i.e., the one that Okabe is observing). The other World Lines represent infinite possibilities – potential World Lines – but are not simultaneously active along with the current World Line. Regarding Kagari's story needing more elaboration, the Visual Novel includes an interesting Kagari path that was not adapted to the anime. The anime was designed to be the "true ending" to the Visual Novel and was told in a linear manner, while the Visual Novel was designed to be nonlinear, allowing for more exploration of various ideas. Some other Episode 23 observations: - The episode and series ends by panning up to show the "Arc-light of the Sky" – the stars Vega (Orihime) and Altair (Hikoboshi). - Mayuri mentions that she will get to speak to Suzuha again in seven years – in the Steins;Gate World Line, we already know that Okabe has created a Lab Member badge to give to someone seven years from now. - Maho's monologue at the end is the same as Okabe's monologue at the beginning of the original Steins;Gate series.

chocolate covered pretzels, coffee, and react pack... yeah. it's going to be a good morning.

Ivan

original series is much better, why? It had more of MAD SCIENTIST! Also pacing is just cleaner

Andrew Curcillo

I like how they were like, "when will Okabe make the video" and the answer is just wait 14 years and record it like normal, no time travel required.

It was Russia! But they solved that part by making it so Amadeus never existed

I honestly dont like how Reboot looks. They made the characters look like vtubers. I prefer the original gritty LN

DaFreakinBat

idk man maybe its just something I cant explain, but 0 hits WAY harder emotionally for me. I know its probably only because the original series EXISTS that the emotional beats of 0 work, but I genuinely enjoy 0 more personally. IK I'm in the minority here lol.

Ivan

That's great tbh, that you connected that way to series. Art and media is individual. I got hit like that in some series too so I get it

Narutoanime16

SUch a crazy show and Okabe truly is a mad scientist XD Im just gonna a guess he took Suzuha back to the world line before the time machine left and then Mayuri will either go back there or he'll take her with him to the future he was just coming from idk

Glad to see you guys finish this masterpiece series 😍. Now we wait for Steins;??? (previously Steins;God, but the author decided not to use that). It was officially announced in 2020 and being conceptualized in 2024. It is a thematic sequel to Steins;Gate, so it will feature new characters. The author considers Steins;Gate itself to be finished with SG OG and SG 0, and further SG games would be redundant. Did you know, in the final minutes of SG OG's final episode, as Okabe stands on the streets of Akihabara and passes Kurisu, he delivers his iconic final monologue: "No one knows what the future holds. That's precisely why, just as this reunion demonstrates, the possibilities are infinite." So there's no guarantee that the Steins;Gate world line is a peaceful future. And this implies that the plot of a thematic sequel will have a major conflict. Unlike the SG OG and 0 where the game was released before the anime, there is a possibility that the anime will be released before the game is available, according to the author.

The way it was explained near the beginning of the first season was that when we get jumped to a new timeline everyone's memories get overridden
