Korra’s dad is true daddy & holy trauma Korra goes through so much . Zaheer is so smart. I really love that Zaheer & his crew feel like real people there all flushed out characters with a history we don’t know much about & I love that Zaheer’s woman was taller than him

This is the best season imo, I’m not a Korra supporter but I feel really bad for her. A lot to unpack here, After this season, Zaheer became the second best villain behind Azula. Bolin lavabending is so fitting considering his parent’s elements. Fun fact: Jinora is now the youngest Airbending Master at the age 11; Aang was 12 when he became Master.

These are the best three eps ever 🥲🥲. From feeling so hyped by the fights to sobbing from the sentiment at the end. The range!! Also geeked out right alongside the girlies over Korra being a badass 🙈

It really is crazy how much stuff Korra has gone through. It’s so nice that she has such an incredible group of people to help her out. That ending scene is so bittersweet and you can just imagine the mix of emotions going through Korra’s mind to be in such a defeated state.

I think showing Earth Queen and P'Li's deaths onscreen really pushed the envelope of showing to the viewer firsthand what bending is capable of instead of it just being off-screened or implied. In the Kyoshi novels (and Im not sure about the other ones), there are more examples of this. These moments really broke the seal on the level of violence included in the franchise.

Season 3 is the one season that matches up well against the original series. When Netflix acquired Legend of Korra during the pandemic, I binged the hell out of it. I wasn't aware of the Korra slander until I got to the reaction videos and specifically, when I read the comments. I've yet to see a reaction where people didn't like this show. Kuvira is a character that actually shows up a fair amount in season 3 but isn't a named character until the final two episodes. It might be worth it after Morgan finishes the series to rewatch season 3 to find all of the Kuvira scenes. But one noteworthy scene is she is the metalbender who snatched Zaheer away from his crew when they were trying to escape with Korra.

Amazing season, Zaheer to this day is still my favorite antagonist in the entire avatar series. I think the biggest difference between Korra and all the other Avatars is the fact that compared to what most Avatars go through throughout their lifetime, Korra did within the span of a few years and at a young age, not to mention at a bigger scale. For that alone I give Korra my utmost respect because she really changed the game in way no else could’ve done it after Avatar Wan. Of course she had help just like anyone else could have, but all her decisions in the end were her own. All debating aside, thats the one thing no one from either side of the argument can take away from her.💐🫡

Watching the three of you progressively lose it at the end was sending me, I was tearing up and laughing at the same time. Great reactions. This season really turned things around and is easily one of my favorites ever. The fighting is _so_ good, there's literally nothing else like it in animation. I love it so much. I am so glad they are making more Avatar things again.
