How is Dan's hair always so damn beautiful?

Samuel Romeo

i think it shows korra and asami married and rebuiklt her father company and it looks like asami betrayed korra and started using the spirit world technology for advancement. I don't think korra destryoed it out of evil. she looked like she awas hrut by asami betryal or maybe someonek illed asami and started using the spirit world prtal and energy for evil and korra probably died trying to stop the disaster from getting worse.

Seeing people rejoice of seeing Korra and Asami is a very beautiful thing 💙❤️

JuicyTortuga

So one small detail, Korra did have a smirk on her face in the flashback during the destruction.

Samuel Romeo

true. i still don't think korra was evil. i think maybe more hurt as to see what they were doing with the spirits in republic city. i think maybe asami died to. i doubt she betrayed korra. that's probalby what set her off and probably asami died trying to save republic city. i think whatever they were doing with the spirit energy that they should not have. had a huge effect and asami probably with koraa dies trying to stop it .maybe the smirk was a clue as to what koraa could do to save it from being even worse. i think the cataclysm was the best result korra could to to stop things from being worse. What i don't undersa=tand is when korra died how did it take 200 years to find the next avatar. I also think nisha and pavi are not 2 separate avatars. I think that is rava split into 2 . maybe something happened and korra had to split rava into 2 or when finding the next avatar rava split herself into 2. it;s just a throry but maybe pavi and nisha will fuse into 1 spirit and pavi will get back her leg. it's all jsut a guess. but i think korra maybe split the chakras in avatar state it split rava in 2. they said it will have 4 books but hopefully they can connect with korra and talk to her and find out a little of what happned. maybe it was 1 child and rava split herself in 2 creating a 2nd twin to maybe protet the avatar after korra death.

Korra definitely had a sad look on her face before she flew into Republic city. There had to have been something that forced her hand. I think she either acted evil when she was wreaking havoc to make history would focus their hate on her for some reason, so the true bringer of the Cataclysm is protected OR there are like 2 versions of Korra, one being a dark/chaotic spirit version, and that one actually caused that. Some of the pink spirit beams that came from the ground were actually coming from the pipes. What if spirit vines grew all over underneath Republic city, enough to actually end the world if they exploded and the only way to get rid of the world-ending threat was what Korra did?

KTRB7

I think the creators confirmed the woman among the other White lotus members in the posters was a character from the Yangchen novels. Supposed to illustrate the White lotus goes way, way, way back.

Genuinely have no clue at how the story is gonna unfold but at the same time I have so many theories (will leave the rest them on episode 9 as not to spoil) but I definitely think Korra had to destroy human development as it was actively harming the spirit world and I kinda think maybe Asami “betrayed” her as in the second part of the vision Korra isn’t wearing that matching necklace they had in the mover.

Dune

You know I was iffy on this show at first but I will say it's keeping me intrigued and now I'm looking forward to new episodes

Jomi

In the flashback, Korra was wearing two different outfits. Also, in the second flashback, she is not wearing her necklace, so I think Asami is dead or she betrayed Korra

Lil Zane

I’m thinking the Future Industries machine was malfunctioning, and Korra was just trying to stop it. Also I noticed there were no spirit vines or anything spirity in Republic City when they showed that flashback that Pavi had

Demnevanni

there were spirit vines on the pillars that Korra was bending, looked like they had grown naturally

Demnevanni

I'm thinking the place Korra destroyed was messing around with spirit vines and causing the beginnings of the cataclysm... Maybe the place they were at was a factory Asami tried to build for a different energy source that wouldn't use spirit vines? As you guys said, nuclear power wouldn't be too crazy of a concept timeline-wise...

Stefan

korra doesnt have her necklace in her avatar state flashback

Stefan

hope we get the other 2 ep today

LatePaul

I think it was a factory. Those looked like workers lockers We saw the pro-bending arena locker rooms in Korra S1 and they were smaller and not laid out that way. It's possible people played "non-pro" Pro-bending (lol) - imagine the equivalent of a company softball team.

El Gordo

Yea you mentioned it in this one too. I said that cuz I also had/have trouble saying that.

El Gordo

I had to look it up to remember how to spell it lol

mundanelotus

I wonder if Korra was destroying Republic City because it was the original source of whatever the Anomaly is and she was trying to stop it from spreading.

Alex Aguilera

I'm with Morgan about maybe Republic City having their own Chernobyl with using spirit energy that backfired
