On this page I reveal the girls are on an island. I found a really great stock photo of some Norwegian islands that are connected by a super long highway that hops from island to island, which is very close to what I had initially pictured. I used the photo for the outlines of the island/bridge and changed some of the geography because the island in the photo was much much bigger. Pontem Isle means "bridge island" by the way. In the original story it was never revealed to the girls they were on an island until like book 6 and I thought "Self, that's really stupid, they would know they were on a friggin' island."
