Chapter 3 Reboot, Page 23 (Patreon)

This may be the page with the most panels since I started the reboot! 10 panels, bleh! Just like with the previous page, I had to go in and retroactively add Arma's bandages.

The bottom right panel is me fixing a problem I had in the first run of the story. I never explained where they were. I thought it would be a fun mystery but when I really thought about it I don't think it made a whole lot of sense to keep this from the reader for as long as I was originally planning. More on that in the next page's post.

Side note, the bottom-left image of Vox is one of my favorite drawings of him. I use this as my reference image for a lot of my Vox drawings. (don't ask me why!)

Process Images

Thumbnail! If I'm being honest this was originally arranged differently. I wanted to trim the length of this chapter and squeezed all these panels into one page. I think it works though!

Inks and spot blacking! So many characters, haha.

Silhouettes! Still considering this a valuable step in the flatting process.

Flat colors!

Shadows! Arma still doesn't have those bandages, haha.

Highlights and gradations!

Patterns and textures. And bandages, lol.

Dialogue and sound effects! All done!
