I was going to pull something from the vault for this update but I realized I never posted a more unusual job I had this year. I was asked to design and create five faction emblems for a fictional storyline used for the backdrop of this year's Soonercon. There was a very heavy nautical theme but it was all based on locales that had been created for the con attendees to experience through role play and quests. People absolutely loved it, and it was probably the most I've ever seen my artwork in one place before.

I am NOT a graphic designer so this was actually really challenging for me! I normally don't have imposter's syndrome but I had it a little bit when working on this.

I'm not going to go into details about the process in designing most of these, since it was a while ago and I don't really remember anyway, haha. I will also post the black and white versions, since I had to make those as well.

Anyway, new experience for me! I personally hope I don't have too many jobs like these in the future because it's a challenge but not a fun challenge for me, hahaha. I've got a NSFW post going up Thursday that will be a bit more like my usual style.

Graphic designing is its own skill. I like what you did with the emblems.
