Big News (Possibly) (Patreon)

I went to a comic event this weekend, and normally I would post some video I took from that for the tiers with con video access. I did take some video, but before I got to interview anyone or walk around much with the camera, something kind of big happened and I ended up not standing at my table for the whole event.

Long story short, I have caught the attention of a rather large manga publisher. Not one, but two magazines have showed interest in me! Both asked me to do some short stories, but both were also interested in FaLLEN. One was really interested but said it might not be a good fit for the magazine, but he wanted to work with me asap. The other said I might have to rewrite the first few chapters of FaLLEN, which I said I would be okay with, but even if they end up not picking up FaLLEN she still wants me to do short stories for them.

Currently I am writing plot summaries and character descriptions for three or four short story ideas to send to one editor within the next day or so. I will still work on FaLLEN in between communications with this guy but... yeah. There is a pretty good chance I might get published by a big manga publisher and that is very exciting!

I will update you guys as I get more info. Maybe nothing will come of this, but this looks more promising than it ever has before. If I end up doing a one-shot for one of these magazines (or both) I will temporarily turn this Patreon into a production blog for non-FaLLEN stuff.

But anyway.... gotta eat breakfast and get back to writing these plot descriptions!
