Chapter 1 Reboot Page 9 (Patreon)

Finished another page. Took me... 3 days? This one had a lot crammed into it (originally this was spread into two pages). I want to get through some of this cave stuff a bit faster than I did in the original version.

I will probably stream pages once I get to the part where Arma gets clothes. I don't want to deal with nudity warnings, even though you can't see anything, and that will give me enough time to figure out what my pacing is, etc. I haven't really gotten to anything with backgrounds yet, so I'm sure when that happens things will slow considerably.

Behind The Scenes

This was the original work from the "manga" version. I redrew Arma's pose so she was covering her breasts and I added the panel at the bottom. 

Line art. Didn't take as long as previous page because you can't see as many of Munchkin's curls.

Dialogue placement... this changes a bit by the final version.

Silhouettes for main components. Silhouetting the characters has actually become an invaluable practice for me now. It has sped up the coloring/shadowing process by a lot.

Flat colors.

Did some shadows and background textures, etc.

Color gradations and shadow effects...

Almost finished, but the placement of Arma's head at the bottom being right under Arma in the middle panel bothered me. As you can see in the final version at the very top, I moved her to the right so they would not be stacked. 

I want to finish at least four more pages before the new year! Wish me luck, haha.
