Chapter 1 Reboot, Page 23 (Patreon)

This was fun to work on because you NEVER see Lamia and Arma like this. I wanted readers to be a little surprised to see Lamia so out of character, haha. Of course, the next two pages will make things make a little more sense.

Behind The Scenes:

I actually changed this page quite a bit. I originally had Lamia tripping but I changed it so the dialogue would make more sense to the situation. Lamia first tries to persuade Arma with logic and then her feminine wiles in the new version. I did leave out the wind blowing, I could see myself adding that back in later on.

I thought I screen grabbed the rough sketch but I guess I didn't. So here are the inked characters instead.

Silhouettes... I reused/reworked a background from a previous page.

Flat colors...

Shadows, spot blacking, added some background elements...

Highlights, color gradation, etc...

Popped the dialogue back in, added a few Lamia thought balloons, sound effects, and more background stuff. Finished!

The next two pages will hopefully go faster since there is more comedic artwork in those.
