Chapter 1 Reboot, Page 2 Behind The Scenes (Patreon)

This is the second page, which featured a huge shot of a mystical throne room. I don't feel like I'm all that creative anymore, so coming up with something like this was a challenge. I hate getting old! It's totally true what they say, your creative passion dies over time. 

This one changed a bit. I decided not to draw the corpse of the Unnamed, who will appear in flashbacks later on in the story, because I figured I would want to change the design whenever the character makes an appearance. Sorry, Horned Tentacle Monster Design. 

I don't know where the sketch of this went! I did the first four pages at the same time so some stuff probably got deleted by accident, or I just forgot to screen grab it. Lines are showing through each other... I ended up redoing the grid on the throne room walls because it looks super lumpy here, haha.

So yeah, line art.

Silhouettes and base colors. I did her colors here because I was playing around with what color palette to use.

More flats/base colors.

Dialogue, shadows for characters and props...

Added gradations, highlights, effects, textures, background shadows...

More background stuff....

More more more... Added beams of light to the throne room.

Minor tweaks and it's finished!
